Fanwood Station
Built in 1874 by the Central Railroad of New Jersey, this Victorian station is the last original frame railroad station on the Raritan Valley Line and has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1980. Fully restored, it now serves as a community center and museum at the heart of the Fanwood Park Historic District.

Scotch Plains is a township of just over nine square miles in Union County, with a historic downtown along Park Avenue known for its independent, family-owned shops and restaurants. The Alan M. Augustine Village Green hosts a summer concert series, movie nights and holiday celebrations, and the Scotch Plains Farmers Market runs every Saturday from May through November.

Fanwood Station on NJ Transit’s Raritan Valley Line and NJ Transit buses connect the town to Newark and New York City.
